The Qlicksmart SnapIT ampoule opener was invented by an Australian registered nurse, Glen Riverstone, after too many on-the-job cuts from ampoules. While everyone suggested that he use a file, the edge of his T-shirt, or even tissue to open those glass ampoules, he wanted something with superior safety – something that could create an extended lever to protect his hand/fingers from the ampoule lid, and hold on to the broken lid.

SnapIT was designed to protect users from injury when an ampoule exposes a sharp edge or shatters while being opened. With a simple “insert and snap” action, it offers users a peace of mind when opening glass ampoules.
